I’m pleased to announce that we have released a new report generator for both Decision Driven® Strategy and Decision Driven® Life today. Users may now publish 2 types of reports for their decisions:
Summary Table - An Excel spreadsheet that captures the full decision model or any branch. This is a “big picture” report that includes multiple decisions and their alternatives (with their preference level, rationale and timing).
Detailed Report - A Rich Text Format (RTF) document (compatible with MS Word) that captures your thinking for a specific decision. This report includes the decision scope/framing, criteria, alternatives and your scoring of alternatives against the criteria (a table version of the Think it Through canvas). If you’re a Systems Engineer, you would call this a Trade Study Report.
Both reports are ideal for blending into Decision Driven® Business Plan document. The Summary Table provides a very compact overview of your strategy across multiple decisions. The Detailed Report documents your “due diligence” for a high priority decision.
