Several folks who have experience with the business use of Decision Driven® methods (Strategy, Design, Innovation, Architecture) have wondered why I launched Decision Driven® Life before Strategy. Obviously, businesses are used to paying for tools that help them succeed; individuals who may occasionally buy a self-help book or attend a life skills workshop are less likely to start a new behavior.
For me it is all about SIMPLICITY. If I can simplify the decision patterns that I have learned and provide them to individuals with a simple, but rich set of interactive tools, I’ve overcome the real obstacle. If “Joe Average” can use Decision Driven® Life, then any entrepreneur, product manager or project engineer will find Decision Driven® Strategy a no-brainer.
Although my early trial users aren’t exactly Joe Average, they are providing lots of great insights on how to simplify the tools. All of which I will roll into Decision Driven® Strategy when it appears in a month or so. So keep the feedback coming!
